August is going to be a good month for the Suicide Squad. The movie will be released on August 5, 2016 and DC’s Rebirth will see the launch of the new ongoing Suicide Squad comic series.

Suicide Squad #1 will hit comic book stores on August 17, written by Rob Williams with art by Jim Lee. To build excitement for the new series, Williams shared Lee’s cover for Suicide Squad #1 on Twitter.

The cover showcases the art talents of Lee on pencils, Scott Williams on inks, and Alex Sinclair on colors. The cover features principle Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Katana, Enchantress, and Killer Croc.

But, don’t get too attached. The writer and artist have shared that the roster of criminals turned Squad members may change. “Unlike a lot of franchise books, the premise of Suicide Squad allows for characters to be killed,” Lee said last month. “That brings a gravity to every situation that’s distinguishable from the rest of the line.”

Williams teased that either Doomsday, General Zod, or Mr. Mxyzptlk will join the team.
