Batman: Return to Arkham, a high-definition upgrade compilation of two popular Batman video games, has been given a new release date; it is now set to come out on October 18, 2016. Return to Arkham was first announced in May and originally set for a July 26 release before being indefinitely delayed to “deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.”

The first two games of the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, are included in this collection; they have received updated graphics and textures as well as a bump up on the game engine itself. Both games included are the “Game of the Year” editions, which feature all of the downloadable content such as challenge maps and additional playable characters. Return to Arkham will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
