After all the excitement that followed the brief teaser last week, The CW has just released the new trailer for Supergirl season two. Check out this incredible trailer for your chance to see the first official footage from the upcoming season.

When season one ended, Kara was finally promoted from being Cat Grant's assistant and offered the chance to decide what she really wants to do. Meanwhile, Supergirl continued to assist the DEO in protecting the city, while also searching for her adopted father and the mysterious Cadmus. This new season sees her teaming up with Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) against new villains as she strives to balance her separate lives.

Supergirl is home to a powerhouse cast with Melissa Benoist as the title character alongside Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, and Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, with cameos by Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

Season two will include Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Floriana Lima as Maggie Sawyer, Lynda Carter as the President of the United States, and Tyler Hoechlin as Superman.

The new season of Supergirl flies in on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 8 PM on The CW.
