Whovians rejoice! The much-anticipated Doctor Who spinoff, Class, will finally be making its small screen debut. The young adult series will be welcoming students on BBC America in the spring of 2017.

Over the years, several Doctors have made their way to the Coal Hill School in London, usually to save the day. It seems the countless visits have caused the iconic school to have its own set of issues. The very walls of time and space, around the school, have stretched thin. Now, something evil is lurking on the other side, just waiting to pull them all into the Shadow. Class follows four high school students, portrayed by Greg Austin (Into the Surf), Fady Elsayed (My Brother the Devil), Sophie Hopkins (Since We Last), and newcomer Vivian Oparah, as they balance teenage troubles with the end of the world.

Thankfully for Coal Hill, and its students, it was also announced that the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) will be making an appearance in the series premiere, titled “For Tonight We Might Die.”

Novelist Patrick Ness (A Monster Calls) is serving as series creator and executive producer alongside Doctor Who alums Steven Moffat and Brian Minchin.
