On Thursday, October 13, 2016, the second trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released. With only two months until it premieres in theaters, the new Rogue One trailer offers more details about the storyline of the Star Wars extended universe film.

The trailer opens on Jyn (Felicity Jones) when she is just a child hanging on her father’s every world. Flash forward years later and her father, played by Mads Mikkelsen is involved in creating a “super weapon” for the Empire.

“Our rebellion is all that remains to push back the Empire,” a voiceover states as Jyn joins the group of rebels on a mission to find the plans for the Death Star. Get ready for exotic locales, awesome space battles, AT-ATs, and all of the glorious things we love about Star Wars. Oh, and Darth Vader.

Joining Jones and Mikkelsen are Forest Whitaker, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Alan Tudyk, Warwick Davis, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, and many others. Rogue One will be in theaters on December 16, 2016.
