DC Entertainment has announced that Wednesday, October 10, 2012 will be “Arrow Day” at participating comic book retailers to celebrate the arrival of their new show, Arrow, which begins airing Wednesdays on The CW at 8 PM ET. Fans who visit their local comic book retailer that will receive a free Arrow #1 Special Edition custom comic book that is the perfect companion for the show’s premiere that night. 

Arrow #1 Special Edition offers a past and present view of billionaire Oliver Queen, both the central figure of the new series and the long running character Green Arrow in the DC unvisese.

“Arrow is one of the most highly-anticipated new shows premiering this fall and when you combine that with enthusiasm from comic book fans who now get to see one of their favorite superheroes on TV – there’s a lot of excitement comic book retailers can tap into,” stated DC Entertainment Vice President of Marketing, John Cunningham. “We’re thrilled to bring ‘Arrow Day’ to fans across the country.”
