Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is only three months away on May 7, 2016! Publishers are finishing their free issues, comic book stores are making their orders, and fans are getting ready for free books and sales on the comic book holiday.

To help readers finalize their selections, actor-writer Alan Tudyk – who played the beloved character Hoban “Wash” Washburne on the short-lived sci-fi Western Firefly – has recorded a video to get people excited for the 15th annual nationwide event. Tudyk, has teamed up with former co-star Nathan Fillion – who played Firefly’s Captain Malcolm Reynolds – to present Spectrum, the comic from their webseries, Con Man. Tudyk is writing the series, along with P.J. Haarsma (The Softwire Series) and artist Sarah Stone (Transformers).
