The Kickstarter campaign for Hype is entering its final week in its attempt to reach its $26,000 goal. The book is a 52-page graphic novel, written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, the writers of Harley Quinn, Power Girl, and Jonah Hex. It features art by Javier Pina (Suicide Squad) and Alessia Nocera (Abbadon), with a cover by Amanda Conner.

The campaign is to raise enough funds to cover production, handling, and the distribution costs for Hype.

According to the campaign page, the story focuses on Noah Haller – the titular Hype – who is a last-resort weapon for the military, but can only be awake for a single hour on any given day. “The genetic and medical enhancements that give him his superhuman abilities force him to undergo complete cellular regeneration – like being rebuilt or reborn every 23 hours,” the page reads.

The campaign runs through Friday, February 19, 2016 and rewards for backing the book include digital copies of the book, additional Paperfilms books like Abbadon and Denver, and Kickstarter-exclusive signed copies of the physical book.
