Captain Action Enterprises, LLC has revealed Medicom Toy Corporation’s packaging of the long-missing Ultraman outfit. The retro style packaging harkens back to the original 1960s line of Captain Action superhero costume sets. Collectors will enjoy the Ultraman outfit, which will display nicely in the packaging or out of it on the Captain Action figure.

Captain Action Enterprises previously shared that the Ultraman set was originally planned for inclusion in the superhero line of costume sets for the iconic 12” Captain Action figure. In the 1960s the outfit was only displayed one time, in Shonen magazine, designed as a contest prize for readers.

“Two of my favorite heroes – Captain Action and Ultraman – finally together the way it was meant to be. Both new and classic collectors and fans will find something to love in this international collaboration,” said toy and licensing expert Michael Polis, Founder of Atomic Toybox.

The new Ultraman outfit will be part of the Captain Action line’s 50th anniversary celebrations, scheduled throughout the year. There are limited Japanese shipping and sales, planned for June 2016.

“We are very excited to see Captain Action's ‘lost’ uniform set come to life as a part of our 50th anniversary celebration,” said Joe Ahearn of Captain Action Enterprises.
