Nintendo has announced that their upcoming console, the “Nintendo NX,” will launch in March 2017. The name “NX” is still only the console’s codename, and it is possible that the console will be renamed before it officially releases. The news was shared via their official Twitter account.

Interestingly, the company also noted that the NX would not be discussed at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3); instead the presentation will focus on The Legend of Zelda. The previously announced Wii U Zelda title has also been pushed to 2017, and will now launch simultaneously on the Wii U and on the NX.
