There seems to be a lot of speculation in the air surrounding the future for a pair of Marvel Cinematic Universe shows. While The Hollywood Reporter shared prospects for several filmed pilots it appeared the odds for Agents of SHIELD spinoff Marvel's Most Wanted and Agent Carter, were not in our favor.

Considering Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) is the suspected near lock for Conviction, the odds of her availability to film both series were slim. Especially considering ABC's high hopes for Conviction. Meanwhile, both Adrianne Palicki (Bobbi Morse) and Nick Blood (Lance Hunter) left Agents of SHIELD to reprise their roles on Marvel's Most Wanted. However reports on this have cooled recently as well. While this doesn't mean the project is completely done, it does seem less likely than it previously had.

Don't worry, it's not all doom and gloom for comics on the small screen. The Archie Comics-inspired CW series Riverdale is a near certainty to be picked up. This is credited to the involvement of Arrow and The Flash super producer Greg Berlanti.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, The Flash, Arrow, and Gotham, among other comic based shows have all already been renewed for another year.
