Baltimore Comic-Con has announced the addition of their newest media guest, The Flash’s Candice Patton. She will appear at the con on Saturday and Sunday, September 3-4, 2016.

Patton is currently starring as Iris West on the popular CW show The Flash. Iris is an investigative journalist and best friend, and on and off love interest, of Barry Allen, a/k/a the Flash.

Prior to landing a leading role on The Flash, Patton made guest appearances on One Tree Hill, The Forgotten, Castle, Harry’s Law, Man Up, CSI: Miami, Entourage, and a recurring role on The Game. Her career began on The Young and the Restless after she was chosen during a national college casting search.

“Flash fans are going to flip,” Baltimore Comic-Con Promoter Marc Nathan said. “Candice has become a core character on The Flash, helping the S.T.A.R. Labs ‘team’ with finding criminals and solving crimes. Her role as Barry’s love interest has fluctuated so far, but those of us familiar with her character from comics have a pretty good idea of where that’s headed! We’re so excited Candice can join us this year, and we’re excited to bring her for the fans.”

Baltimore Comic-Con will be held on September 2-4, 2016 at the Baltimore Convention Center. It is located at One West Pratt Street in Baltimore, MD, across the street from Geppi’s Entertainment Museum. Tickets for Baltimore Comic-Con can be purchased on their website.
