Marvel announced at their Comic-Con International panel that Ghost Rider would be appearing in the upcoming season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., confirming the fan speculation that arose when the fiery chains appeared alongside the show logo on mass transit cars around San Diego. They also unveiled a brief teaser trailer as well as the character's car, the latter of which was shown off at the Marvel booth on the show floor.

This version of Ghost Rider will be the Robbie Reyes character, who uses a vehicle called the Hell Charger, a 1969 Dodge Charger imbued with hellfire. He will be portrayed in the show by Gabriel Luna (Wicked City).
