Get ready Earpers, revenants, and Way-Haught shippers – the Wynonna Earp TV show has been renewed for season two.
Melanie Scrofano, star of the show, made the announcement during their panel at Comic-Con. The news received thunderous applause and hoots of excitement from the audience. She was joined by Beau Smith, the creator of the Wynonna Earp comic, plus cast members Shamier Anderson, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Tim Rozon, and Katherine Barrell for a discussion about how the show differs from others, their experiences with the show’s popularity, and they answered fan questions.
Smith also announced that Officer Haught will be introduced into the comic. They discussed the possibility of bringing other characters from the comic to the show – such as Bobo’s younger brother Mars, the possibility that Agent Dolls is more than human – Anderson wants him to be a unicorn, what will happen with Waverly after the season one finale revelation and twist, if Barrell will be upgraded to series regular, and the chances that Bobo could return.
It’s good that the show was renewed because there’s lots of story to tell and revenants who need a lullaby from the Peacemaker.
