Among the plethora of reveals at Comic-Con one of the most talked about is undoubtedly the first trailer for 2017’s Wonder Woman. It opens with some shots of Amazonian Princess Diana Prince’s home, before she heads into the world with Steve Trevor to become one of its greatest heroes.

The trailer has plenty of cool shots, slowed down action sequences, and bits of humor. We get to see Wonder Woman’s trademark weapons in action and finally get to see a group of fearsome female warriors.

Wonder Woman is slated for theatrical release on June 2, 2017. It is directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster), written by Allan Heinberg (Grey’s Anatomy) and Geoff Johns (Arrow), with story by Heinberg and Zack Snyder. Gal Gadot (Fast Five) stars as Wonder Woman alongside Chris Pine (Star Trek) as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright (House of Cards) as General Antiope, Connie Nielsen (Gladiator) as Queen Hippolyta, and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead) as Etta Candy.
