Magician, comedian, and author Penn Jillette is guest writing an issue of Spider-Man/Deadpool. Jillette was recently a guest for the podcast This Week in Marvel and talked about the issue.

It will feature himself and his partner Teller to team-up with Spidey and Deadpool. The issue was drawn by Scott Koblish.

Jillette has previous experience in comics, writing Detective Comics and Dark Horse Presents.

“I had to mull it over for like two or three seconds,” he joked. “I mean, what book could be more exciting?....Of all the characters in comic books, it doesn’t get better than Deadpool and Spider-Man. It’s a dream come true for a lot of things.”

Jillette also joked about signing over the rights to his own likeness so that he’ll remain a character in the Marvel Universe. His story will appear in Spider-Man/Deadpool #11 out in stores in November.
