ReedPOP announced that the 2016 New York Comic Con will expand with events at Madison Square Garden’s Theater. Panels, Q&As, and screenings of upcoming TV shows will be hosted at Madison Square Garden on October 7-8, 2016.
“The weekend of NYCC Programming at The Theater at Madison Square Garden will kick-off Friday, October 7, with a BBC America panel block featuring Doctor Who, with star Peter Capaldi making his NYCC debut along with the first ever fan appearance by new co-star Pearl Mackie – both joined by showrunner and executive producer,” NYCC's press release read. “Ahead of its October 22 premiere on BBCA – the world premiere screening of BBC America’s new original series Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency followed by a panel with cast, showrunner, and writer and executive producer; and the first ever US panel with the cast, executive producer and creator of BBCA’s new Doctor Who spinoff series Class.”
There will be a panel for The Walking Dead on October 8.

Other New York Comic Con events outside of the Javitz Center will be held at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Hudson Mercantile, Rock Bar NYC, and Littlefield.
