Last year Marvel hosted a successful campaign of variant covers depicting talented cosplayers embodying some of their best characters. Now, a new wave of Marvel Cosplay Variants have been issued.

They will appear on nearly 15 select Marvel comics in September and October featuring new costumes, new cosplayers, and new characters.

“The response to our first set of Cosplay Variants was so incredible, we simply had to do a second wave,” Marvel Editor in Chief Axel Alonso said. “And, of course, we were able to find a great crop of cosplayers with some truly fantastic costumes. We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on an ever-growing community that continues to show love for us and our characters.”

The 2016 crop of Cosplay Variants includes A-Force #9 by Crystal Melton, A-Force #10 by Corrine Vitek, Black Panther #7 by ScorpKing Costuming, Guardians of the Galaxy #12 by Johnny Junkers, Mockingbird #8 by Lauren Matesic of Castle Corsetry, Patsy Walker, A.K.A. Hellcat! #11 by DJ Spider, Scarlet Witch #10 by Yaya Han, Silk #12 by Rian Synnth, Spider-Man #8 by Pierre Demery, The Punisher #6 by Mike Powell, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #12 by Riki “Riddle” Lecotey, The Unbelievable Gwenpool #6 by Alana Waffles, Thunderbolts #5 by Wesley Johnson, and The Ultimates #11 by Knobel Creations.
