ComicConnect and Metropolis Collectibles will attend the Baltimore Comic-Con to accept consignments, bring special requests, and buy any size collection, the company told Scoop. The show will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center on September 2-4, 2016.
“ComicConnect’s auction schedule, made it impossible to do a full setup,” said Vincent Zurzolo, COO. “But, there was no way we were going to completely miss this show, as it’s one of the highlights of the convention season. I’m sending Brandon Peck, one of our top Sales Executives, to meet with both clients and dealers, buying and bringing requests for folks who make this their must-see show of the year.”
“Baltimore is a great town and I’ll be there all day on Friday with special requests for our A-list buyers,” Peck said. “I’m planning on bringing at least one box full of orders, or two, so we’re scrambling to get all of the requests in before we run out of room!”
Show attendees who want to buy specific books from Metropolis’s world-renowned inventory of comic treasures from the 1930s to the present should contact Metropolis Sales Director Frank Cwiklik for their requests, at orders@metropoliscomics.com. Space is limited, and requests will be first come, first served, so get your list to them as soon as you can.
“If you’d like to make an appointment to meet with me to consign or sell, contact us at (212) 260-4147 or email me directly at brandonp@comicconnect.com and we’ll arrange an appointment for you,” Peck said.
