On Saturday, October 8, 2016, the sixth annual NYCC Charity Art Auction to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be held.

St. Jude is a pioneering hospital for research and treatment of children with cancer and other diseases. Part of their goal is to treat all children, no matter their family’s ability to pay for the treatment.

Steve Borock will serve as the auctioneer for the charity event. Borock is the president of CBCS who also serves on the board of the Hero Initiative, the non-profit that helps comic industry pros in medical and financial need.

Participating in the event will help to support lifesaving research and treatment for the children at St. Jude. The art auction will be held from 6:45 PM to 9:30 PM in room 1A18 at New York Comic Con. More details can be found at www.newyorkcomiccon.com.
