DC Comics and IDW Publishing have joined forces on a book to be called Love is Love, which will release in December. The book will be an oversized, 144-page issue whose proceeds will benefit Equality Florida Action and, more specifically, the charity’s fund for those impacted by the June 12 attack in Orlando on the Pulse nightclub.

Equality Florida Action is a nonprofit advocacy organization aimed at securing full equality for Florida’s LGBT community. It was founded in 1997 and has been promoting pro-LGBT equality legislation in the state ever since.

Love is Love features more than 100 stories – each just one or two pages – and will retail for $9.99. Creators featured in the book include Damon Lindelof, Phil Jimenez, and Patton Oswalt. The project was organized largely by Marc Andreyko.

“Events like this shouldn’t be compartmentalized,” he told The New York Times. “They should hurt and we should want to change for the better.”
