New York Comic Con (NYCC) just got even more exciting. The charitable organization, Hero Initiative, committed to helping veteran comic creators in medical or financial need is joining the fun at the 2016 NYCC. The con is located at the Javits Center on 655 West 34th Street in New York, NY from October 6-9.
Artist Steve Dillion – best known for his work on Preacher, Hellblazer, and The Punisher – will be at the Hero booth all weekend. Head over to booth N104 all weekend to meet Dillion, commission a sketch, or have him sign your favorite comic or sketch. All proceeds go towards Hero Initiative. In addition to Dillion, Mike Perkins (Captain America), Chris Ivy (X-Men) and Ron Marz (Green Lantern) will also be hanging by the booth to sign and sketch.
Ivy and Dillion will be located at the Hero booth from 3:30 PM to 7 PM on Friday, October; followed by Ivy, Perkins, and Dillion from 11 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday, October 7; then Ivy, Perkins, and Dillion will be joined by Marz from 11 AM to 4:30 PM on Sunday, October 8; finally your last chance to see Ivy, Perkins, and Dillion is from 1 PM to 4:30 PM on Monday, October 9.
Hero Initiative ambassadors will be walking the floor collecting for Hero as well.
