On Sunday night most TVs will be tuned to AMC for the season premieres of The Walking Dead, it’s companion show Talking Dead, and for the funny comic loving Comic Book Men.

AMC’s Comic Book Men follows the sales, deals, comic excitement, and antics in Kevin Smith’s comic shop. On the October 23, 2016 season six premiere of Comic Book Men Diamond founder, President, and CEO Steve Geppi will be a guest on the show. The guys of the show took a trip to Geppi’s Entertainment Museum in Baltimore, MD to look at the most incredible, rare, beloved comic books in history and talk shop with Geppi.

The show will premiere at 12:40 AM ET Monday morning, following the Sunday night season premieres of The Walking Dead and Talking Dead.

Geppi met the guys of Comic Book Men over the summer between Baltimore Comic-Con and Comic-Con International: San Diego for his segment. “Originally, the GEM segment was going to appear in a later episode this season,” Geppi said. “But, everyone was so pleased with how the segment turned out that it was moved up to the season opener. As for my part, I just tried to be myself. In fact, I thrilled the crew and surprised myself by managing to do my on-camera segment in one take, even after flying in from San Diego!”

“Comic Book Men airs after the top-rated show on television,” Geppi continued. “That illustrates the recognition and respect that comics and the comic industry are getting. My hope is that the GEM segment will continue to show that, and that retailers will see this as another tool for creating excitement as they promote comics, pop culture, and their stories.”
