On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, Hasbro, Inc. announced that they will present the first Hascon. Next year on September 8-10, 2017, Hasbro, the global entertainment company, will host a family convention celebrating all things Hasbro. It will be held in Providence at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin Donuts Center.

Hascon will bring decades of storytelling into one location, featuring their all-ages products, like G.I. Joe, Transformers, My Little Pony, Nerf, Magic the Gathering, Play-Doh, Monopoly, and more.

The celebration of Hasbro’s characters and stories will include live interactive experiences, exclusive products, guest appearances, meet and greets with celebrities and Hasbro creative talent, panels, Hasbro gaming competitions, limited edition Hasbro products, and more.

As the press release states, an “immersive Hasbro fan and family experience.”

The con will have stage performances and exciting events for fans where they can interact with their favorite characters. It will also offer first look previews of Hasbro’s TV and movie series.
