Ever since the news dropped about a DuckTales reboot, fans have been dying to know when the original duck dynasty would be returning. Thankfully, the wait is over! Not only has Disney shared the scheduled premiere date, but they gifted fans with a teaser trailer as well.

DuckTales will debut on Disney XD in the summer of 2017, and reportedly includes plans for a “reimagined Launchpad McQuack” – Scrooge McDuck's personal pilot.

In addition to Scrooge and Launchpad, the new DuckTales will feature Huey, Duey, Louie, Donald Duck, Gyro Gearloose, Duckworth, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell and Poe, Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys (Burger Beagle, Bouncer Beagle), Mrs. Beakley and Webbigail “Webby” Vanderquack.

The original series, which ran from 1987 to 1990, inspired the 1990 release of DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp. Though brief, the 15-second trailer includes gold coins, Donald Duck's iconic squawk, and the ever catchy “woo-hoo.” The perfect amount of DuckTales nostalgia to get everyone hyped for the upcoming revival.

Matt Youngberb (Ben 10: Omniverse) is serving as executive producer on DuckTales, along with Francisco Angones (Wander Over Yonder) as story editor and co-producer, and Sean Jimenez (Gravity Falls) as art director. The first season will include 21 half-hour episodes and 2 one-hour specials.
