This March, powerhouse author R.L. Stine is bringing his spin-tingling skills to the Marvel Universe! The world renowned author of the Goosebumps and Fear Street novels, will be placing his twist on Marvel's monstrous creation, Man-Thing. Joining Stine on the all-new series is artist German Peralta (Agents of SHIELD) and a variety of comics’ rising talents.

“R.L. Stine in the Marvel Universe – that’s an event in and of itself. And is there a Marvel character more perfectly suited to his sensibilities than the monstrous Man-Thing? Stine and artist German Peralta are spinning a tale full of action, horror, humor and heart – one that’s sure to please R.L. Stine fans, Man-Thing fans, and new fans,” Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso said. 

While attempting to recreate the Captain America super-formula, biochemists Ted Sallis was accidentally transformed into the Man-Thing! After regaining his ability to speak, Man-Thing finally plans to leave the swamps behind him. However, when reality is threatened by a mysterious danger, he'll have to choice between his new life or his old home. 

Each issue of Man-Thing will include a unique horror short, written by Stine with illustrations from a rotating selection of artists. The very first issue will feature a high-seas terror, illustrated by Daniel Warren Johnson (Space-Mullets).
