We have a while to wait until Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters, but with filming just underway, Marvel provided a first look featurette for the upcoming comic-based epic movie.

Infinity War brings together not only the Avengers but the Guardians of the Galaxy and other Marvel heroes. The first look begins on the first day of filming, January 23, 2017, with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt, and Tom Holland (i.e., Iron Man, Star-Lord, and Spider-Man) and teases the Infinity Stones.

Producer Kevin Feige talks about how Infinity War is “the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe” which began with Iron Man in 2008. He also talks about how they were able to get to this point through the storytelling setup.

Directors Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: Civil War) talk about how Civil War set up Infinity War.

The stacked cast includes Downey, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo from Avengers; Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Karen Gillan from Guardians; plus Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Josh Brolin (Thanos), and a bunch more.

Infinity War will be out in theaters on May 4, 2018.
