The secret is out! Andrew Cieslinkski (Holidaze) announced through Facebook that the tribute books to comic legend Mike Wieringo are now available for order.

The Mike Wieringo Tellos Tribute, is a 500-page original graphic novel dedicated to the memory of late artist, Wieringo. This novel – which is presented in two over-size, hardcover volumes – features the artwork of over 200 of the comic industry’s talented artists. All proceeds from this project are being donated to the ASPCA in Wieringo’s name.

After three years of planning, the Mike Wieringo Tellos Tribute continues the adventures of characters from the original Tellos series – created by Wieringo and Todd Dezago and published by Image Comics. It includes Jarek, a young hero with magikal abilities; Koj, a tiger-warrior; Serra, a young pirate queen; and Rikk, a fox-thief bent on finding fortune.

In this new story, they are reunited to stop the ruthless leader of the denizens of Nether, Sur-Azal. As Sur-Azal and his slithering minions move to make Tellos habitable for his primordial brethren, The Baden creatures terrorize the kingdom and begin possessing the population. Dive into this fantastic land of adventure and danger in the 2017 comic event.

In an effort to ensure that all proceeds go toward the ASPCA, offers are extremely limited. The two volumes, shipping in June and September of this year, will only be offered in this format one time only. These exclusive books will not be available in any stores.
