Go, Planet! According to Entertainment Weekly, Cartoon Network is releasing the full six-season run of the ’90s animated series, Captain Planet. On April 10, 2017, for the first time ever, the series will be available for digital download.

Captain Planet will be available for purchase from such digital retailers such as iTunes, Amazon Video, Google Play, Vudu, Playstation Store, and Xbox Store. Individual seasons will retail for $9.99 and $14.99 each, and single episodes will cost $1.99.

Captain Planet and the Planeteers, later known as The New Adventures of Captain Planet and The All New Adventures of Captain Planet, aired back in 1990. The show followed five teenagers from across the globe who were given elemental power rings to combat eco-terrorists. Along with the aid of the Earth spirit Gaia (Whoopi Goldberg), they would combine their powers and summon the elemental superhero Captain Planet.

The initial series run was a huge success. Not only did Captain Planet make children aware of environmental issue, but it showed that anyone could help change the world. To this day, the show has maintained a strong fanbase and continues to serve as a pop culture icon.
