Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first official trailer for Justice League and it’s a doozy. It opens with Batman’s dire warning, “We have to be ready. You. Me. The others. There’s an attack coming. From far away.” To which Wonder Woman makes it even more foreboding by responding, “Not coming, Bruce. It’s already here.”
With impending doom on their doorstep, Batman and Wonder Woman gather their team. This trailer gives a bit more introduction for the other Leaguers, with Cyborg, Aquaman, and the Flash getting some decent screen time. It looks like a bit of their origins will be revealed, along with their loved ones like Mera, Henry Allen, and Dr. Silas Stone. We also see several brief shots of their awesome skills in action. It’s looking good.
Justice League will be in theaters on November 17, 2017. It is directed by Zack Snyder, written by Chris Terrio (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice).
The ensemble cast is led by Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher as the Justice League. The film also stars Amy Adams, Amber Heard, Connie Nielsen, Willem Dafoe, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, Jesse Eisenberg, Kiersey Clemons, Billy Crudup, and Joe Morton.
