The first trailer for Marvel and Freeform’s new young adult drama, Cloak & Dagger, has just arrived. Since Freeform is a network geared toward young adults, emphasis on the teenage relationship of the leads was heavy. However, while Freeform might be skewed towards a younger demographic, the trailer is not lacking in Marvel’s signature intensity.

If this first trailer is any indication, Cloak & Dagger is sure to deliver in drama, mystery, and excitement. Starring Aubrey Joseph and Olivia Holt in the titular roles, Cloak & Dagger is set in New Orleans and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The angst-filled new series is scheduled to debut on Freeform in 2018.
