To keep up with the growing fan enthusiasm, Image Comics will be fast-tracking a second printing of Rob Liefeld’s Youngblood #2, led by writer Chad Bowers (Deadpool: Bad Blood) and artist Jim Towe.
Youngblood #2 follows Shaft’s arrival to Baltimore, where he presents a warning to the team of rookies calling themselves “Youngblood.” Meanwhile, President Die Hard meets with the creators of the popular Help! app and struggles with how far he’s willing to go to protect the country. As if that wasn’t enough, Badrock is already keeping secrets.
“The fans have spoken and let their enthusiasm shine in support for the amazing work from Chad Bowers and Jim Towe with two consecutive sell outs! Given that we are celebrating 25 years of Image and Youngblood I'm thrilled that fans are rallying behind this relaunch!” said Liefeld.
In 1992, Youngblood launched the Image Revolution and changed the comic world for the better. Now the original hit series has returned with an all-new cast of characters and a brand new mission. After a young hero goes missing, his friend’s desperate search for answers leads to a group of unexpected allies. Together, they'll do whatever it takes to find him…even resurrecting the world’s most infamous super-team.
Youngblood #2 is available for purchase on the Image Comics website, the official Image Comics iOS app, Comixology’s website, iOS, Android, and Google Play.
The second printing of Rob Liefeld’s Youngblood #2, (Diamond Code MAY178003) will be available on July 5, 2017. The final order cutoff deadline for retailers is June 12.
