Syracuse’s Salt City Comic-Con has partnered with Empire Brewing Co. to host a Comic-Con Pre-Game Night on June 21, 2017. This exciting event will take place from 6 PM to 11 PM at Empire’s Brewpub on 120 Walton Street in Syracuse, New York. The pre-game celebration will help get fans in the mood for the June convention, taking place the following weekend.

At the event, Empire Brewery will debut their new beer crafted exclusively for Salt City Comic-Con: Barley Quinn. Salt City Comic-Con will also host a trivia contest with prizes ranging from comics and merchandise to con tickets. Cosplayers are invited to compete for prized and the title of Best Cosplay. “Homegrown Hero” and comic professional, Tom Peyer, will judge the contest and sign copies of his new Captain Kid comic. Throughout the weekend, Empire Brewery Co. will also be offering select onsite specials for comic-con fans.

“Syracuse’s Salt City Comic-Con looks to be so much fun, and we’re excited to kick off the activities with a night at our downtown Empire Brewpub,” said Emily Whalen, marketing director of Empire Brewing Company.

In celebration of its fourth year, Syracuse’s Salt City Comic-Con is moving to the Oncenter War Memorial building, located on 800 South State Street. The pop culture convention is taking place on June 24-25. Presale tickets are currently available online.
