Baltimore Comic-Con has just announced an exciting new addition to their 2017 roster: Frank Miller! The con is taking place on September 22-24, 2017, at the Inner Harbor's Baltimore Convention Center, located on One West Pratt Street in Baltimore, Maryland.

Frank Miller – acclaimed comic book writer and artist, screenwriter, film director, and movie producer – will be appearing on Friday only. Miller was born in Maryland, raised in Vermont, and eventually made his way to New York City in the 1970s. At the same time, Miller pursued an interest in the comic industry. Initially finding work in Gold Key Comics, Miller later went on to work with DC and Marvel.

While working with Marvel, Miller assisted with fill-in and cover artist gigs, before taking over writing duties in Daredevil. Along with Chris Claremont, Miller co-plotted the Wolverine limited series. He is perhaps best known for creating Elektra for Marvel Comics’ Daredevil series, and a female version of the Robin character, Carrie Kelley, for DC Comics. Additional credits for Miller include Ronin, Daredevil: Born Again, Elektra Lives Again, The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City, and 300.

In addition to comic work, Miller penned the scripts for Robocop 2 and 3, and directed the film version of The Spirit. He also shared directing duties with Robert Rodriguez on the Palme d'Or-nominated Sin City and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and produced the film 300. Miller made cameo appearances in Robocop 2, Daredevil, Sin City, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and The Spirit.

A limited number of tickets are available for fan interaction with Miller during his Friday appearance. To purchase tickets to the Baltimore Comic-Con and the Frank Miller events specifically, visit their tickets webpage.
