A new poster released by Yahoo TV – featuring Black Bolt, Medusa, and Maximus the Mad – has revealed the broadcast premiere date for Marvel’s Inhumans. The drama will debut on September 29, 2017 at 8 PM on ABC with two back to back episodes.

This release date is four weeks after the first two episodes premiere in IMAX theaters, and a few days later than the previously announced September 26 date. The poster features Anson Mount as Inhumans King Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, and Iwan Rheon as Black Bolt’s treasonous brother Maximus the Mad.

A brief synopsis for the show reads, “After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”

The eight-episode series mainly centers around the Royal Family of the Inhumans. Inhumans are a race of genetically advanced humans with extraordinary powers first introduced by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in Marvel’s Fantastic Four in 1965.

Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus the Mad, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Mike Moh as Triton, and Sonya Balmores as Auran.
