The superhero action figure, Captain Action, is once again celebrating customization and creativity at Comic-Con International: San Diego. This convention is taking place on July 19-23, 2017 at the San Diego Convention Center. As part of this year’s “Captain Action’s VS” custom action figure contest, fans will be asked to include two figures. One must be a Captain Action customized figure, while the other can either be another customized figure or an off-the-shelf figure. Both figures are to be posed together in a dramatic confrontation.

As in previous years, the winners will be decided at Comic-Con by a panel of toy and action figure experts. These include Michael Polis (Atomic Toybox), J.C. Vaughn (The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide), Michael Crawford (MWC Toys), and Daniel Pickett (Action Figure Insider), along with moderator Ed Catto (Captain Action). Prizes will be awarded to the best customization and the best action images. Entries for the contest must be submitted to Joe Ahearn at joeahearn@captainaction.com no later than July 15.
