IDW Publishing and Hasbro have once again teamed up! The toy company will be producing the first Rom and M.A.S.K. action figures in decades, based on the publisher’s revival of the two series. The line is part of a larger set inspired by IDW’s event, Revolution. This epic crossover from 2016 also features G.I. Joe, Transformers, Micronauts, and Action Man. A follow up to this Hasbro-verse crossover, entitled First Strike, will be released in August 2017.

“The spirit behind Revolution came from these writers and artists dreaming up their own crossovers by smashing all these toys together in their youth. Now, with this new set of action figures based on the imaginations of these creators, they can start their own revolutions and let the cycle begin all over again!” shared IDW Editor-in-Chief David Hedgecock.

The last time a Rom toy or a M.A.S.K. toy line debuted was 1980 and 1988, respectively. While IDW added that the Micronauts toys were last made "three decades” ago, Hasbro actually released a limited edition line at the 2016 Comic-Con International: San Diego.

This exciting new toy line, as well as some Revolution-themed enamel pins, will debut at Comic-Con International: San Diego on July 19-23. Limited quantities will be available for purchase at Hasbro's booth 3329.
