Diamond International Galleries (DIG) is currently seeking an Internet Sales Agent and an Inventory Specialist.
The Internet Sales Agent will be responsible for the listing of products for sale by DIG through its online auction portal on eBay. There are several essential functions to the job position, such as picking inventory items to list for sale, taking pictures of items, cropping/adjusting pictures for maximum sales effect, listing a minimum of 40 items per day, and uploading listed items prior to completion of workday. In addition to checking uploaded items for errors prior to items going live to auction, organizing and maintaining shelf space for past and current auction items, organizing items capable of being relisted, maintaining cleanliness of office area and work space, along with all other duties as assigned.
Education, skills, and experience required for the job include prior knowledge of the comic book and pop culture industry. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed, as well as at least 6 months of previous sales experience, some telephone sales or telemarketing experience is preferred. The person must be a motivated self-starter, have a solid work ethic, able to work autonomously, and does not require micromanagement. A high school diploma is required and the applicant should be proficient with computers, software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and be aware and familiar with eBay item listing procedures.
The applicant should also be competitive, confident, competent with a desire to succeed, have an outgoing personality with great attitude, a professional demeanor/appearance, as well as access to dependable transportation to work location.
The Inventory Associate will conduct a comprehensive inventory of pop culture related collectibles currently owned and exhibited by the business ventures of Stephen A. Geppi.
There are several interesting essential functions to the job. Primary duties include gathering data, identifying, tracking, and researching inventory. Providing management with information regarding storage, location, and all movement of said inventory. Analyzing data with regard to all current and future inventory and related items employing primarily, but not exclusively IntelliTrack Stratus Check-in and Check-out program, Microsoft Excel, and related in-house internal and external search programs. Demonstrating the proper handling and storage of inventory, which may include fine arts and collectibles. Providing periodic progress and status reports of tasks and management requests. Maintaining accurate, documented, detailed records and reports. Relocating collections, maintaining cleanliness of working area. All other duties as assigned, which may include trips to other facilities as requested by management.

For physical requirements, applicants must be able to lift 50-60 pound boxes and operate light duty equipment if necessary. The person should be a motivated self-starter who is able to work autonomously and does not require micromanagement. A high school diploma is required and the applicant should be proficient with computers, software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and must possess a solid work ethic.
Training will be provided and applicants will also be expected to progressively learn as responsibilities are added.
