Prepare to enter the Upside Down! On October 28, 2017, Geppi’s Entertainment Museum (GEM) is hosting their annual Halloween ComicFest. This year’s theme is centered around the popular Netflix phenomenon Stranger Things.
Along with free ComicFest goodies and giveaways, the 2017 show will also feature games, crafts, and an interactive ghost hunt! The Charm City Ghostbusters will be there to tackle any paranormal problems that may arise. For those children who find the theme too scary, there will be a safe room available for them to escape to.
During the event, the GEM store will have a number of sales running, including: 40% off all trades and hardbacks; 20% off all action figures, statues, and t-shirts; two-for-one on back issues; buy one get one free on bundled issues; and 30% off the entire store for GEM members.
GEM is located on 301 West Camden Street in Baltimore, Maryland. Halloween ComicFest will be running 10 AM to 6 PM. Day-passes are $10 for adults, $9 for students, $7 for children, and children under 4 are admitted for free. Arrive in costume and receive half-off your admission price.
After binge-watching all of Stranger Things season two – streaming on Netflix on October 27 – head over to GEM for some upside down fun! Visit the GEM website for more information on the upcoming event, as well as future museum activities.
