DC Collectibles has unveiled their 2018 Summer lineup, consisting of new statues, action figures, and collectibles. Headlining the June releases is a new line of moveable 6-3/4” Batman Black & White action figures. These figures will debut alongside the first wave of DC Artists Alley designer vinyls, which features three new black and white variants. The company is also releasing a 12” statue based on the critically acclaimed Dark Nights: Metal comic book series, along with new additions to its Harley Quinn: Red, White & Black and DC Gallery lines.
Beginning in June 2018, the popular line of Batman Black and White statues will include Jim Lee’s Batman from Batman: Hush, Greg Capullo’s Batman from Batman: Death of the Family, and Batman from the Caped Crusaders first appearance in Detective Comics #27. The new black and white variants added to the DC Artists Alley line will showcase Chris Uminga’s take on Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.
Capullo’s variant cover for Dark Nights: Metal #1, featuring a gruesome, axe-wielding Batman, will be transformed into a 12” DC Designer Series statue. There’s also a new Harley Quinn: Red, White and Black statue by Jae Lee and a life-size replica of The Joker cane – which features an intricately designed Joker-themed handle.
The 6.75” Batman Black & White Action Figures from Batman: Hush, Batman: Death of the Family and Detective Comics #27 will be retailed for $30. While Uminga’s 6-3/4” DC Artists Alley Designer Vinyls will be sold for $40. Capullo’s 12” Dark Nights: Metal #1 Batman, part of DC Designer Series Statues, will be released for $150. Featured in the DC Gallery line, The Joker’s cane prop will be retailed for $125, while the 7-1/2” Harley Quinn: Red, White & Black Statues will be sold for $80.
