The drama, which was renewed by Netflix in December 2016, began filming the second season in New York City in June. The 13-episode second season is set to premiere on Netflix in 2018.
Marvel’s Luke Cage stars Colter as Luke Cage, Missick as Misty Knight, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Woodard as Mariah Dillard, and Rossi as Shades, as well as newcomers Shakir as John McIver and Dennis as Tilda Johnson. Finn Jones, a/k/a Iron Fist, will also make an appearance during the second season.
