Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the first teaser trailer for next year’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The animated film introduces Miles Morales to the big screen in a sleek way.

The teaser features some very exciting action as Miles flies around the city, thwarting criminals in daredevil ways. The animation blends dark city nights with neon lights while the tagline interjects, “Enter a universe where more than one wears the mask.” Yup, there’s more than one Spider-Man in this ‘verse.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be out on December 14, 2018. It is written by Phil Lord (The Lego Movie), and directed by Bob Persichetti (story artist on Shrek 2), Peter Ramsey (Rise of the Guardians), and Rodney Rothman (writer of 22 Jump Street).

Shameik Moore (The Get Down) will voice Miles Morales. The cast also includes Mahershala Ali (Luke Cage), Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), and Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta).
