A new international trailer for Black Panther recently dropped and offered some previously unseen footage with a focus on the cool technology of Black Panther’s new superhero suit. Earlier trailers have focused on the lightweight components of the suit and noted that it is virtually bulletproof. Now, the new trailer revealed T’Challa’s suit has the ability to absorb energy and then redistributed that energy at the wearer’s command. It remains to be seen how exactly this will play out in the film, as well as what rules, if any, restrict the suit.

Black Panther, directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he wrote with Joe Robert Cole, stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue, and Forest Whitaker as Zuri. 

The film arrives in theaters February 16, 2018.
