Warner Bros. Television has released a first-look image at Hawk and Dove, as portrayed by Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly, respectively, in the upcoming Titans live-action series. The costumes look remarkably representative of the comic book counterparts, and have been designed by Laura Jean Shannon.

Hawk and Dove are set to be recurring characters in the first season of Titans, and Warner Bros. is allegedly already considering a spinoff focusing on the characters, depending on how well audiences react to the pair. Hank Hall (Hawk) and Dawn Granger (Dove) first paired up in 1988 – the original Dove was Don Hall, Hank’s older brother, who debuted in 1968. While the pair’s solo titles have been relatively short-running over the years, they have been seen in other large DC Comics events such as Blackest Night and Brightest Day.

The Titans series will be debuting in 2018, on DC’s (as of yet, unnamed) digital streaming service. The show has been in development since 2014, when it was first announced as a show for TNT. Other shows scheduled for DC’s digital service have included Young Justice: Outsiders and a Harley Quinn animated series.
