Starting in April, Gail Simone will be writing Marvel’s first Domino ongoing series. In the comic Domino will be hunted by mercenaries, including a mystery villain Marvel’s statement described as “the one man who hates her more than anything in the world.” During the comic she’ll also have to face herself.  

Simone is familiar with the character, having previously written Deadpool, one of Domino’s longtime associates. In addition to the new comic, Domino will also appear in the upcoming Deadpool film.

“My favorite characters are always the unpredictable ones, and with Domino, you literally never know which way the dice are going to roll,” said series writer Gail Simone in a statement. “I love her, and I can’t wait to show her best bad side!”

“Domino will continue to be one of the breakout stars of Weapon X, but fans have been clamoring to see her get the spotlight for some time now…well, your wish has been granted!” added series editor Chris Robinson.

An artist has not been named yet, but Greg Land and Frank D’Armata have been named as the cover artists. The series is scheduled to debut on April 11.
