Doreen Tracey, one of the original Mouseketeers on The Mickey Mouse Club, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. According to Disney publicist Howard Green, she passed away after a two-year fight with cancer. She was 74 years old.

As an energetic kid, she appeared in episodes of The Mickey Mouse Club from 1955 to 1958. She was born on April 3, 1943 to vaudeville dancers, Bessie Hay and Sid Tracey. She learned to sing and dance at her father’s dance studio in Hollywood and became a Mouseketeer in her early teens.

Tracey’s other acting credits came in Westward Ho, the Wagons!, several episodes of Annette, and an appearance on The Donna Reed Show. During the ’80s through the 2000s, she appeared on Mickey Mouse Club reunion shows, including celebrating the show’s 60th anniversary in 2005.
