Marvel was among the companies that headed to the 2018 Toy Fair over the weekend with a variety of new toys from Hasbro.
As previously revealed by Scoop, Hasbro is releasing a line of masks and 12” figures based on the titular heroes in Ant-Man & The Wasp. Along with 6” helmeted Marvel Legends figures of the heroes, Hasbro is also releasing unmasked versions depicting Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily’s likenesses. As well as a special Toys “R” Us two-pack based on the Astonishing Ant-Man comics.
While Black Panther continues to dominate the box office, Hasbro is producing new Marvel Legends figures of Erik Killmonger and Everett Ross. The unmasked figure depicting Michael B. Jordan’s likeness joins the adult-sized Black Panther mask.
Since 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hasbro is releasing a new line looking back at Marvel films of the last decade. This includes single figures and multipacks ranging from the first Iron Man to Avengers: Infinity War. In addition to hard-to-find figures like the Hulkbuster from Age of Ultron, this line includes entirely new figures like Pepper Potts from Iron Man 3 and Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy.
Meanwhile the next wave of Spider-Man 6” figures features mainstays like Kaine and Doc Ock, as well as a version of Spider-Man based on his House of M suit. Marvel heroes Cloak and Dagger are also getting new figures, as are the All-New, All-Different Daredevil suit and Elektra.
Spotlighted in the Marvel Legends prop replica line is Thanos’ gigantic gauntlet, which includes the light up Infinity Stones and articulated digits to manipulate the fingers and thumb. Ahead of Sony’s Venom movie, Marvel Legends is also releasing all-new figures of Venom, Poison, Scream, Carnage, Peter Porker, and Spectacular Spider-Ham.
Deadpool is also getting a new 12” figure in the plus-sized Legends lineup. This figure sees the merc’ with a mouth in his costume from Uncanny X-Force. Along with variants of Deadpool, the character is getting a new range of 6” figures for Lady Deadpool, Omega Red, and Bishop. By collecting these figures, you will receive the parts needed to make a figure of the Pteranodon/Human hybrid Sauron. Aside from figures, Hasbro is releasing new Nerf blasters featuring Deadpool’s name and emblem.
Also joining the 6” figure line are figures of the Fantastic Four’s Thing and Silver Surfer, as well as X-Men figures of Magneto and Sabretooth. A standalone version of Thanos, based on the comics, is also arriving complete with an Infinity Gauntlet-clad hand and challenging smile.
