In 2016, Netflix announced plans to reboot the 1965 television show Lost in Space. Now, the streaming service has finally released the first trailer for this science fiction series. Initially airing on CBS between 1965 and 1968 for a total of 85 episodes, Lost in Space centered around the Robinson family as they ventured into the cosmos to establish a new colony. Unfortunately, as the title suggests, the family got slightly turned around and ended up on the wrong planet.

Although this new series will keep the original premise, the trailer suggests a more serious tone. The first trailer for the upcoming revival also shows a combination of retro and contemporary influences. As a nod to the original series, the trailer also features the classic line “Danger, Will Robinson.”

Lost in Space was previously adapted as a feature film starring Friends star Matt LeBlanc. The new Lost in Space stars Molly Parker, Parker Posey, Toby Stephens, Ignacia Serricchio and hits Netflix April 13, 2018.
