As revealed via Deadline, the Hunger Games’ Jack Quaid has been cast as Hughie Campbell, a/k/a Wee Hughie in Amazon’s The Boys. This new series is based on the Dynamite Entertainment series led by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. 

The Boys, which ran for a total of 72 issue between 2008 and 2012, follows a CIA squad that works to keep the world of amoral celebrity superheroes in check. Wee Hughie serves as the protagonist of the series, after being recruited by Billy Butcher into joining the Boys. 

At the helm of this new series is Supernatural creator Eric Kripke and longtime collaborators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Quaid joins Erin Moriarty (Jessica Jones), Laz Alonso (Fast & Furious), Antony Starr (American Gothic), Dominique McElligott (House of Cards), and Jessie T. Usher (Independence Day: Resurgence), among others.

This eight-episode series is set to debut in early 2019.
