The deadline for voting for the Will Eisner Awards Hall of Fame nominees is ending soon on Friday, March 16, 2018.

The judges have already selected Carol Kalish and Jackie Ormes for induction into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame. Kalish worked for Marvel as a pioneer in the comics direct market field and she expanded Marvel’s distribution into new retail outlets. Ormes was the first black female cartoonist who created popular, boundary-pushing characters in the early to mid-20th century.

The nominees for the 2018 Eisner Awards are Charles Addams, Jim Aparo, Gus Arriola, Karen Berger, Howard Cruse, Carlos Ezquerra, Dave Gibbons, Paul Levitz, Tarpé Mills, Francoise Mouly, Thomas Nast, Lily Renée Wilhelm Peters Phillips, Posy Simmonds, Rumiko Takahashi, John Wagner, and S.
